Projecting success at McAndrew Martin

Project management can be complex and multi-faceted with a wide skillset required across a range of different disciplines.
At McAndrew Martin, our Project Management and Contract Administration department has a wide range of highly qualified and experienced experts available inhouse to call upon.
We keep a close watch on the latest industry developments and best practices to ensure we continue to deliver the very highest standards of professional customer service.
One recent project to catch the eye was Laing O’Rourke being named preferred contractor for the £700m regeneration of Brent Cross Shopping Centre in north London.
It was appointed under a pre-construction services agreement as part of a two-stage tender process for the main construction works.
The company will now work with joint owners Hammerson and Standard Life Investments to finalise the design and procurement before work starts next year.
The ambitious plans include a doubling of the size of the centre to two million sq ft of retail and leisure space.
Plans include 150 new shops and 50 new restaurants, plus a cinema, hotel and new town square.
Although projects may vary in size and value, many of the principles remain the same.
At McAndrew Martin we are able to understand the exact requirements of any given brief, from the drawing board through to execution in an efficient, comprehensive and cost-effective way.
The other departments in our multi-disciplinary practice which we draw upon are Architecture, Building Surveying, Electrical and Mechanical Engineers, General Practice and Structural Engineers.
Our project managers are RICS qualified Chartered Surveyors, while experts in our other departments also belong to professional bodies, such as CIBSE, IMechE and IStructE.
Some of our key services include full project management, principle designer, client advisory roles, cost control analysis, onsite construction management, stakeholder engagement and preparation of contract documentation.
Our Director of Project Management Lee Sargeant is RICS qualified and has a BSc (Hons) degree in Building Surveying.
He has a wealth of experience in MoD, residential, commercial and engineering projects.
Contact Lee on 02392 697193 and on [email protected] for a free and friendly, no-obligation discussion about your requirements.
