Has Rowan’s Hospice helped your family or friends?

Rowan’s Hospice at Purbrook needs to raise £5m a year to provide its care services for people with life-limiting illnesses in Portsmouth and South East Hampshire.
In 2015-2016, the hospice cared for 375 inpatients, providing 5,019 days of care. It also provided specialised care for 396 patients in their own homes.
One of its new initiatives to ensure it can deliver the very best care is the refurbishment of its 19 specialist in-patient rooms.
The single bed, en-suite rooms have all of the latest facilities and technology, and mean that patients can be cared for in privacy with their family and friends around them.
We’re aiming to raise £10,000 from our annual Charity Golf day to fund the refurbishment of one of these rooms.
The fundraiser – one of the premier corporate golf days in Hampshire, London and the South – is being held on Thursday April 27 at Waterlooville Golf Club.
That’s just three weeks away. We expect up to 100 professionals from the property world to attend.
Don’t forget to get your entry form in as soon as possible to secure a place – teams of four are very welcome.
As well as 18 holes of golf, the event will also include an evening dinner, prizegiving, competitions, a raffle and charity auction.
So if you want to support the event – and Rowan’s Hospice – but can’t make the day itself you can always donate a prize or money for the raffle or the charity auction. All support is gratefully received.
We’ve raised more than £10,000 for charity over the past three years, including Help for Heroes and the Ickle Pickles charity for premature and seriously ill babies.
The event is the first as we enter the next phase of our growth following a restructuring into six divisions: Building Surveying, Project Management and Contract Administration, Mechanical and Electrical Engineering, Structural Engineering, Architecture and General Practice.
Tickets are £49.50 per person. Please call our Director Ian Lee on 023 9269 7193 and email [email protected] to offer an auction prize and for more information.
