Help us hit £10,000 target!

We’ve joined forces with Rowan’s Hospice to set a £10,000 target for Charity Golf Day in April.
Raising such a superb amount would pay for the refurbishment of one of 19 en-suite bedrooms with state-of the art equipment and facilities for inpatient care.
We’re holding the charity golf extravaganza at Waterlooville Golf Club on Thursday April 27.
Our director Ian Lee has appealed for prizes for a raffle and a charity auction to help us hit the £10,000 mark.
He said: “Rowans Hospice helps so many people when they need it the most.
“Having specialist in-patient rooms where people can be treated in privacy, with the best equipment and care, surrounded by their families is central to their incredible service.
“The £10,000 is our most ambitious target yet from our charity golf days but it would mean so much and any donations of prizes for our raffle or charity auction would go a long way.”
We expect 100 players from the property world across London, Hampshire and the South – including clients, suppliers and business associates – to join in the fundraiser.
We’ve lined up 18 holes of golf, competitions, prize-giving, a two-course dinner and a charity auction at the event – one of the leading events of its kind in the South.
Purbrook-based Rowans Hospice needs to raise £5m a year to provide its specialist palliative care services for people with life-limiting illnesses in Portsmouth and South East Hampshire.
In 2015-2016, the hospice cared for 375 inpatients, providing 5,019 days of care. It also provided end-of-life care for 396 patients in their own homes.
Amanda Clapham, who is director of marketing and income generation, said: “We value the support of businesses in the community greatly.
“Refurbishment of our ward of 19 en-suite bedrooms allows us to continue to provide the very best 24-hour care for our patients.
“We are tremendously grateful to McAndrew Martin and all involved in the golf day, and look forward to a very successful event.”
We’re holding the charity golf day as we enters the next phase of our growth with a restructuring into six divisions: Building Surveying, Project Management and Contract Administration, Mechanical and Electrical Engineering, Structural Engineering, Architecture and General Practice.
Tickets for the golf day are £49.50 per person with teams of four welcome.
Contact Ian Lee on 023 9269 7193 and [email protected] to sign up, sponsor a hole or offer prizes.
