Opening opportunities at annual fair

We’ll be joining in the fourth annual Opportunities Fair at Portsmouth Guildhall this Saturday, October 18.

Our expert and friendly staff will be among industry and business professionals manning a stand at the event from 10am to 3pm.

The extravaganza is being held for pupils aged 10 to 13 – and their families – to showcase the exciting opportunities and wide range careers on offer in the city when they leave school.

We’ll be on hand to talk about the wide range of expertise, high level qualifications and rewarding careers on offer in property related services – including chartered surveying, structural engineering, architecture, electrical engineering and computer aided design.

We’ll be on hand to explain what we do, how we help private, commercial and public clients, as well as answer any questions, give practical advice and offer general careers help.

We enjoy playing our part in helping to create a vibrant community and strong local economy, and always look forward to attending such events as the Opportunities Fair.

We also regularly take on interns for three to six months at a time from Europe through Portsmouth-based Training Vision to give them valuable experience

In the last 12 months, we’ve also raised £4,300 for the very worthwhile Help for Heroes charity.

The Opportunities Fair promises to be a great day. There will be interactive activities as well as talks, displays, question and answer sessions, entertainment and competitions.

It is run by the education workstream of The Future of Portsmouth along with the Education Business Partnership Portsmouth, and is funded by Portsmouth City Council.

It aims to raise the aspirations and expectations of young people by getting them excited about living and working in the city.

Some 2,000 people poured through the doors last year – so why not pop down this year?

Don’t forget to come and say hello to us on our stand. Visit for more details.
