Project

Operational Efficiency & Welfare Upgrade at Warmley Depot

The project involved the delivery of a new modular building and link structure at the Environment Agency’s Warmley Depot to provide upgraded welfare and office accommodation. Works included internal alterations and the installation of pallet racking facilities, creating a functional space with offices, ablutions, kitchen and breakout areas, and a dedicated drying room. The scheme was designed to improve operational efficiency and staff welfare within the depot.

Completed in June 2025, the project was commissioned by ISS on behalf of DEFRA and the Environment Agency. A key challenge encountered during construction was the discovery of an existing slab within the ground, which required a re-evaluation of the foundation design to ensure structural integrity and programme continuity.
